Selfishness as a way to beat Envy?

Posted on: August 15, 2009

Many of the men I know and am attracted to have always had that “cocky-funny” attitude touted by the writers of http://www.askmen.com.

Oftentimes those men exhibit ages >35 years of age. They seem self-assured and nigh impenetrable from the kind of remorse you get when you thought someone would make time for you.

I have decided to try to inherit this method of selfishness. What better way to protect yourself from disappointment if you only account for yourself?

Now I’m not an egomaniac nor a five-year old child, so this method would only be used at appropriate times of uncertainty. For example, only during times when wisdom entails that you learn from past mistakes and do what you think is right.

At this point I believe that “follow your heart” means to allow yourself to be selfish.
