Prothrombin Time

Posted on: May 30, 2005

A patient arrived asking for instructions regarding his medication: Coumadin. Doctor requested to see his “P-time” in order to make a decision.

This is a coagulation measuring test to see the presence and activity of five different blod clotting factors. (http://my.webmd.com/hw/health_guide_atoz/hw203083.asp).
