Herpangina

A woman came in complaining of a rash under her tongue. I wrote on her note “sublingual rash.” Although I’ve never really heard of a rash being inside the mouth before, let alone under her tongue. The doctor found her to have herpangina, which I suppose is a mouth blister:

Funny, though. Because this usually afflicts children more than it does adults…
